In July 2017, I am planning to cycle from Land's End to John O'Groats. It will be a family adventure, with my two sons, Nathan and Joel, cycling with me, and my husband, Steve, providing back-up in the car, and doing some cycling with us each day.

I have created this blog so that those who are interested can follow our adventure each day, and see where we have got to.  Just click on the posts to the right of this page, or to see a map and other data, click on the Strava link for the day.

For anyone who would like to sponsor us, money donated here:

will be divided between St James' Church, Rhosddu and St John's Church, Rhosnesni (both in Wrexham), and the Cae Canol Centre at Beddgelert. In addition, the two schools in Wrexham at which Nathan and Joel have been pupils, are also raising funds:
St Joseph's Catholic and Anglican High School:
and Barkers Lane CP School:

If you live in or near Wrexham, you might see us on the roads over the next few weeks, as we try to get fit before we start!

  1. Well done! Hope the weather will be good for cycling - no heatwaves, thunderstorms or gale force winds (unless they are behind you)! David (where we have all three in this, the rainy season).

  2. Hope all goes well. I'll be following the blog.

  3. Very impressed !!! Will be following your progress

  4. Much love and many prayers for you all. Stay safe on the roads and enjoy the ride. Mx

  5. And just to clarify, I posted that at 11.32an, not 03.32!!
